Congratulations to the 2015 Waverly Hall Yellow Jacket 5&6 Year Olds on thier vicotory in the 2015 Tiger Bowl Championship!

The 7&8 year-old Waverly Hall Yellow Jackets just wrapped up their perfect season after defeating the Cataula Bulldogs (26-0) on Saturday, November 15th at the Harris County Youth Sports annual Tiger Bowl Championship. The Yellow Jackets, coached by Marco Youman, ended their season with a total of 12 wins, becoming the first Waverly Hall Youth Football team to complete an undefeated season.

In an interview with the head coach, Marco Youman stated, “This talented team learned the meaning of teamwork. These young men are what we call a “Band of Brothers”. I always teach my players three important principles for football, which also apply to life: God first, education second, and football third. The third principle can be applied to whatever goal your child would like to accomplish in life. Our youth are our future and we must shape and mold them to become productive citizens that are respectful young men.”

The team was coached and managed by a group of dedicated parents (in order of picture): Clayton Kloehn, James Mclemore, James Perry, Head Coach Marco Youman, Nathan Juroff, Jake Hansford, and team mom, Brooke Garcia (not pictured).

The Waverly Hall Youth Football teams a great season. All four teams made it to the 7th Annual Tiger Bowl.

The 7&8 Year Olds and 9&10 Year Olds walked away as the 2014 Tiger Bowl Champs!

The 7&8 Year Old Cheerleaders, coached by Stephanie Woodham, competed in the 2014 Harris County Winter Cheer Competition and brought home FIRST PLACE!!
